This section is divided in three parts
- IELRC Background paper
This paper has been written especially for the COP/MOP and starts by studying environmental liability in general and biotechnology in particular. It then move on to describe the socio-economic aspects and patent liability, the relevance of existing regimes before proposing improvments for the development of liability and redress regimes at the national and international levels.
Copies of this paper will be included in a package that IELRC prepared for COP/MOP, and will be available at the side-events.
Note that an executive summary is also available for download on this site.
