Jayna Kothari is a Partner at Ashira Law, Bangalore. She is a practicing advocate and a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.

Having completed her B.A.LL.B from University Law College, Bangalore, Jayna has received a Master's Degree in law from the University of Oxford, UK, majoring in Comparative Human Rights Law, Intellectual Property Law and Jurisprudence.

Her areas of practice and interest are public law (constitutional and administrative law), property law and intellectual property rights. In addition to her legal practice, Jayna has published widely in these areas of law in national and international law journals. She has also taught as Guest Faculty at the National law School of India University, Bangalore.
